Our church is equipped with an outdoor ramp up to the entrance and a chair lift inside for those who need assistance with stairs.
Our Mission
It is the mission of the Grand Prairie United Methodist Church to be a beacon of light for Jesus Christ among our neighbors and throughout our community so there is a prayer in every mind and a Christian family in every home.
Sunday School
We have two Sunday School options available at Grand Prairie: General Sunday School and Youth Sunday School. On a typical Sunday Morning, we begin with fellowship in the church basement, following the worship service. We have coffee, cocoa, juice or milk, and donuts/coffee cake available to share during this time. We then have a brief opening where we gather near the piano for a hymn or two as well as any announcements for the morning. After the opening we go to one of the classes.
General Sunday School
Our General Sunday School Class is open to all ages. It is a time of fellowship where we share our thoughts and opinions on various topics including Bible stories, scriptures, and current events. We invite you to come and join in the conversation! You can choose just to listen, share your opinions, or even volunteer to teach!
